A lot of sick people that need serious help.

Francesca Rogier
I hope people are still writing to the contacts! I suggest you put this question to whomever you write:

Why didn't Halifax have Brindi assessed right after the court ruling ordered it to, & then (as we know it would be a positive assessment), adopt her out before the appeal deadline of August 1 (a five-week period)?

A. Because doing so would've been a tacit admission of the city's wrongdoing since 2008, as Halifax continually insisted Brindi must die, without ever having her assessed, and ignoring the positive assessments I had done. (Halifax also ignored the opinion of some of its own employees in Animal Services and the pound contractors, as well as some politicians, not to mention the public.)

On the other hand, NOT doing an assessment and adopting her out in that ample amount of time is even more an admission of wrongdoing since '08, PLUS, the city ignored a direct court order, which is also wrong!

What else is there to say? The city should return her, period, because they have never stopped being in the wrong.

Dee Turner I think ALL our letters need to be copied to the editors of ALL MEDIA in Halifax to expose this corrupt council and incompetent judge. If we sent them all to you as well Francesca, would that help with your appeal, as well as allow you to send them en masse to the appropriate media? I think it will give your case some much needed leverage to get Brindi released, or at least make these abuses PUBLIC prior to the upcoming re-election of this HRM council.

Francesca Rogier I don't know, the judges seem to love to ignore them!

Leanne Pentney Francesca.. you need to get this story out to the big media.. have you contacted Global? The citizens of Canada need to know this plight dog owners are facing across this country. I am from BC and it is happening here. Too many fur babies being taken away from their loving homes. I will share your story with my friends. Prayers xoxoox

Dee Turner @Leanne... if you know a politician or media person in BC could you give us the contact info and speak to them about Brindi's case?

Leanne Pentney Just looking into it now for you....CHBC was the media outlet that was contacted about a case here.

Dee Turner I think if we could involve Elizabeth May, MP from BC (Green Party leader who hails from Halifax) she would be appalled at the injustice and incompetence & recognize the outright corruption going on here. She might be most effective one who could pull rank on these power tripping lugans!

Leanne Pentney The more people hear about it the better. We elected those officials and now its time for them to do what we ask.

Leanne Pentney The name I was given was Blaine Gaffney... he sent someone out to do the story. I believe it was with the news media CHBC.

If anyone doubts that the HRM is really as EVIL as they appear to be, please be sure to read this editorial by Tim Bousquet, a reporter from The Coast, which clearly exposes the whole truth about the sick politics in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Feel free to make comments about Brindi's case on this and ANY of his other revealing editorials whose links follow this one below. Tim seems to be the only reporter with ethics, political knowledge & the courage to go after this corrupt council & the Mayor. The general public needs to be educated about these people, for some tangible leverage against them since they are ALL UP FOR RE-ELECTION and won't want this DAMMING INFORMATION KNOWN ABOUT WHAT THEY HAVE BEEN DOING TO FRANCESCA & BRINDI FOR THE PAST 4 YEARS!!

Last Thursday morning was a crystalizing moment for my understanding of Halifax. A crowd of more than 300 people, overwhelmingly male and exclusively white, besuited in the attire of folks who consider themselves movers and shakers, had gathered at the Neptune Theatre on Argyle Street for a masturba...

I know you have contacted everyone.. but do you think contacting Ceasar Milan or Victoria Stillwell again might be worth a try? Sounds like the "creatures" in charge are heartless and don't care....I am sorry for you and for Brindi.

Now you be the judge!

  1. The more time goes by, the crazier it gets. It's like being in a room full of people doing cocaine. Repetition repetition repetition. Same record being played over and over again on the turn table while watching a long drawn-out pissing contest between females, some of them peri-menopausal and one of them who's at the age of just recently having reached brain maturity. And THIS is what Brindi's life is depending on. Brindi is doomed if someone from HRM with a shred of decency doesn't step up and stop the madness. If she could just come to her senses and drop this senseless appeal, and hope to GOD that she hasn't pissed them off so much now that they'll kill Brindi out of spite. Because sometimes it feels like that's exactly what she's trying to do. If they kill Brindi it will put her in the right, which is where she wants to be. And the money will come pouring in, then. They'll fix her house, then. And the fake dog sht will flood the offices again. It will never end. Whether Brindi lives or dies. It will never end.

  2. She takes advantage again of good old Robert Riley. Using his name to do her dirty work. This way she can't get sued, but it sure sets HIM up for the fall. What a coward she is! A letter sent to the provincial registrar, signed not by her, but by Robert Riley (as 'member' of 'Humane Halifax'), to inform that WYNDENFOG KENNEL has been operating without a license for the past 2 years. What next?! It will never end. http://halifaxhumane.org/docs/LetterToRegistrar.pdf

  3. Why does she think no assessment was done? Why would they report to her? She no longer owns the dog!
    She is insane.
Hope the Judge asks her who owns this dog you are trying to foster out.

  4. All along she has said she wants the dog returned to her. It's only until very recently that she has suddenly changed her tune and is saying get Brindi out of the kennel NOW, foster her. At the last minute she is saying this, WHILE SHE IS APPEALING the judge's verdicts and sentence? That's idiotic. It's been all abuzz on twitter and elsewhere the shock and disbelief at her appealing and not wanting Brindi to be rehomed and her constant insistence that Brindi must still be returned to her. Even many of her ''followers'' have dropped her because of this. So NOW she suddenly wants to make it look like she is INTO REHOMING Brindi, which she is NOT. She's trying to do damage control and back-peddling. People have been screaming REHOME for ages and so now she's saying OK REHOME -- BUT ONLY BECAUSE ((( I'M ))) SAYING IT'S OK TO DO SO NOW! SHE wants to decide what happens to Brindi. She wants to make it seem that if HRM DOES rehome Brindi it's because SHE ORDERED them to do it. Knowing full well with the egos involved, they will do no such thing if it appears SHE is ordering THEM to do it. She was against ANY Brindi Supporters calling for Brindi to be rehomed and SUDDENLY it's HER idea that Brindi should be rehomed. But rehomed IMMEDIATELY as per HER demand. Where in the heck does she get the idea that HRM HAD to do an assessment and find Brindi a home in the weeks/time allocated for her to file an appeal? The Judge said for HRM not to take any action during that time, allowing for an appeal. She appealed. HRM has to wait for this appeal to be over with obviously. WTF? Why does she keep insisting to everyone that HRM is NOT following the judge's orders? They are, and they did! If she wants Brindi out of that kennel so badly why did she appeal? She has said she will not win an appeal, that it's just to buy more time to put pressure on HRM (pressure from 1 fraction of her "army") on one hand (the "heavy" hand), to give HER back her dog, and at the same time, pressure from another fraction of her army for HRM to now IMMEDIATELY remove Brindi from the kennel owners. It's not really the kennel that bothers her, the the OWNERS of the kennel that she cannot stand, and any other BRINDI-SUPPORTER not following HER every order, lock-n-step. After all these years she still wants to call ALL the shots, no questions asked. Just do as I say, when I say it, OR on my sh*t-list you go and I will sic my army on you! Again, she has only come up with this Foster-Now-BS because people were onto her, angry with her prolonging Brindi's stay in the kennel, delaying her chances of being rehomed, and suspecting it was all the more time for her to promote her paypal donation button to fix her house up and pay her bills. A sorry attempt at damage control and back-peddling.
