Question if I may. I stumbled onto this blog by accident, may I please know why someone blogging under the name of Dog Lover is accusing me of using a false name? "Keep pushing Fran AKA Lina Burkholder" I don't like that! So if this Dog Lover is watching, I would like to know why you did that. I noticed with some interest this Dog Lover also makes the same accusations of you posting as a Debbie MacDonald. Well Don't know about her, but I can honestly say, I am who I claim I am.

Francesca Rogier Lina, that's a blog by 70 year old man named Wayne Croft whom I've never met, who lives in a tiny village somewhere, and who has been cyberstalking and harassing me since 2008 in various ways, on Facebook groups, twitter, phone, at my house, and on that blog. He's got some unknown friend in this group who sends him copies of posts. Most of the blog seems to be reposts of my posts or my own blog entries, and the rest is pure hate. I stopped blogging in good part because of him. I am sorry he used your name. But don't worry about it, not many people read it.

There is a photo of the Wayne JOSEPH Croft in this 2008 CBCNews article (see link). Mariette Deveau are you *certain* he is 70? is it possible that he is, let's say, maybe more like 65 years old, or so? Does he look anything at all like the photo? The photo was taken at least over 3 years ago, and possibly earlier. Either way, the WC "person" with whom you find yourself encumbered with is just as repulsive as the one fr the article, imo. :-(

Lina Burkholder My husband just send him a note since I used the anonymous reply option to write back and called me a confused pup. He did take of some of his more nasty remarks, as far as I can tell. But he is either in your list under a false name or has someone mailing him the comments made. Which ever one is right, I think that is an act of a coward. He does not sound all that intelligent, just notice what he has for interests if you click on this dog lovers profile: " Fishing, eating especially red meat.My Dogs." That could be read as, he likes red meat, hence eating his dogs! Wow that's some dog lover!!! In any rate one thing is for sure, he most certainly is not man enough to post up an apology. And that to me says all. So Mister Dog Lover Sir or Mister Dog Lovers spy, I suggest you get your act together.

Francesca Rogier You're in good company, Lina, although that's little consolation, but many, many people like you, as well as I, have suffered the onslaughts of this person and his friends-so much so that they've been dubbed "the uglies". The best thing to do is block them on FB and ignore the blog, deprive them of oxygen. Haligonians have no need of feeling offended, since he's not even from Halifax himself.
Meanwhile, I'm so delighted that Danielle is here to help, she really does live across the street from me, with her own four dogs!

We both have filed complaints against him, yes spy or Mister Dog Lover, that we did. Strange you did not allow my husbands post so far. Yea she needs, as you call it, new suckers, to try to help. If you are such a Dog Lover, how come, no matter what you think of the owner, you make no attempt to save Brindi? Cut the chitchat what has that dog ever done to you?

Lina Burkholder I don't know about his earlier history but it sure looks like a bad mental health case to me. Sadly unlike dogs Halifax seems to allow these kinds of attacks no matter how much damage they cause to other people. From what I am reading I strongly suggest Immediate treatment behind closed doors for this person and his alter personalities. Public safety and all comes to mind. As an after thought never did hear Brindi attacking someone from behind, hiding behind multiple personalities. Only humans are capable of doing that. Still Dog Lover you would make an excellent mental health patient study subject, please feel free to apply.

Dear Kansas--some prefer anonymity because Rogier has dragged into Court--Small Claims Court, the Court who grants Peace Bonds (Judge chucked her ridiculous claim out)--even Tenancy Court for a couple who took her in when Halifax kicked her out of her unsafe home in mid-winter & she appeared blubbering at their door one rainy night. Needless to say THEY are no longer supporters, someone else took her in & I forget what Rogier did to her. These are not rumours or unsupported allegations--records are all there. No lawyer will help her because the lawyer who won her first case, in the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia was not paid. He had to take her to Small Claims Court, got a judgement and still has not been paid. (Records--not malicious rumours like she tries to make out.) She's afraid of Court in March (she skipped out on October date claiming a hurt finger...she'd had over a year to write the brief)--because the prosecutor is the young lady she met with (along with one of the then-supporters who took her into their home (one took her for free--charged NO rent!...to their great regret)--she talked for 2 hours, they couldn't get her out; she was there long after closing time. She incited her Group to write negative comments of this young lady just starting her career AND to include 2 CCs to Mayor and HR--just to make sure one went in her permanent file. That's mean, just plain meean. Why, even after being badgered the young woman wouldn't give her back her dog. Surprise! Her neighbour reported her not out of malice or family connections but because she and her husband were walking their small dog (leashed) by Rogier's house on the PUBLIC ROAD, the only one thru that small village & Brindi leaped out the car window and attacked their dog. Under a muzzle order--but of course she was not muzzled. Rogier feels Canada's laws do not apply to her. But they do. And her neighbours have become very resentful of this behavior which has continued for 6 years. You just came in on the finale of this! A peaceful tiny rural village in Nova Scotia was descended on by an arrogant know-it-all American who did NOT try to fit in but got into altercations with neighbours from day one. Her dog attacked SEVERAL others dogs & the incidents were not reported before the final straw came when Brindi attacked a Guide Dog and a Chihuahua. NO I am not making that up! Who could? What she is saying to raise money is more than just slanted, but this can be ascertained by Googling and finding articles (many) in the Halifax paper (Chronicle Herald), the Coast, reading the Judgement by Judge Alana Murphy requiring Brindi to be leashed AND muzzled at all times when not in her house OR, the judge warned, if there was to be ANY "further incident" the dog would be put down. She ignored the rule, the warnings--everything. But when Brindi attacked again it was everyone else's fault. WHY would she ever want to LIVE here?? There are now many who are writing the Premier to suggest that granting her landed status would be a VERY bad idea.
ReplyDeleteWhen the last attack occurred she had ONE remaining local friend who hadn't been identified with her in print AND that friend worked at an HRM official dispatch center. Rogier called her FOUR times and a friend called once (to lie that he was there and saw the whole thing)--she talked almost an hour and a half and they have it ALL on tapes. These are available and transcripts have circulated up and down the Eastern Shore. She cooked up a totally false report--she said the other (leashed) dog attacked Brindi who was wearing a muzzle and leash (held by her) and just standing by her car as she got out a bag of groceries. This is the OPPOSITE of what happened and they have it on TAPE in her own voice. She says something about illegally obtained tapes?? Calls to municipal call centers are automatically recorded-always--in Kansas too I'm sure. In case someone was in a hurry & they didn't get an address or something. They are completely LEGAL & they are the property of HRM. No wonder she wanted to get a doc's note to get out of Oct. trial--they just need to play the tapes. (Her friend was immediately transferred to the airport--45 minute drive from downtown! Someone said she'd been fired (& probably should have been). Rogier blamed HER FRIEND for 'suggesting' she file a false report!!! If someone suggested you lie to a Kansas Municipal call center, would you do it?? She has harmed many people--including those 3 friends. What she had one of her groupies do to the gentleman you are maligning, you do not know (it concerned his ill wife) and I think it is unseemly to pronounce on his reaction. Your husband I expect would be equally furious in that situation and would probably have got in his car, driven over and punched her out. He sure doesn’t need Treatment—but there’s a consensus on who does.

Sounds awful if you just start in and read what she writes to raise money. $1500 the end of January for a dog who will (alas for the poor dog—but due entirely to Rogier’s carelessness and irresponsibility) be put down by mid-March is really a reach. But she has a whole new group who know nothing of her track record in our small community—and it’s a free country. She has debts galore she can use it on. When she was raising money the first time to get Brindi out, she went on a 3-day all-inclusive yoga retreat because she was stressed out. Donations paid. And some of the donors would have liked a retreat like that for themselves.
It’s your and your husband’s judgement and call and its your money, but do not fault those of us (many people read and contribute to this) who prefer to remain Anonymous. She has even called the workplaces of neighbours’ husbands in her community—women who spoke out against what they saw. And it worked; afraid for their jobs they told their wives to pipe down. When crossed in any way, she can be downright vicious. So seeking anonymity is a testimony to how MUCH trouble she has caused and a certain knowledge that nothing is out-of-bounds for her.
ReplyDeleteIf you have the money to send her--she sure can use it. Her house is a mess and eyesore without working plumbing in winter. And her driveway is such a rutted mudhole it's a wonder she can get her car in and out. For myself I prefer to give money to those who are in desperate circumstances due to no fault of their own and Lord knows there are enough of those!
I am always amazed at how much foreigners think they know about this case. They forget their source of info is Fran herself and she has no problem making adjustments to the facts. We in fact live here and actually know the facts and if you want to waste your money go right ahead, but we like to see people informed about their choices.

Seems she wants to be the boss all the way around but not do anything. I took your advice and links to read. All I can say is WOW. I am glad I read that before I started to put my nose in it. I am not a big animal lover but I was feeling bad for a fellow human and a fellow member of ONS. Not anymore. I know she has messaged people about certain people and I assume people in this blog are those. At least I know the ones that have been banned are. Thank you for the information. Saved me a big headache and money. Like you I do wonder how much she has got from people who didn't read independent facts. Now she is asking for more? What a sick person she is.

Glad you read links--it's all out there in public but most people would just like to take sides and bicker--the heck with the truth. She's been here 6 years and somewhere in there got a Provincial Nomination from either Dexter or his predecessor. Some of us have been writing, emailing, even faxing him: "Rescind that PN & tell Ottawa to reject her application for landed status (from her it's almost a demand--low self-esteem is not one of her problems!) Don't let her suck up the attention of half the ppl on ONS--she'll hijack the whole thing. After all, she was a radical long before any of you guys. She can tell you what to do and how to do it--ya just gotta sit, hands neatly folded and listen. While she takes over. Oh yeah, and when you're finished with 10 minutes of oNS matters, everyone write to . . . (she has a list of every Govt official in NS with emails, faxes, home phones....to Save Brindi. Brindi already WAS saved--and she couldnt follow the rules for TWO months. But you see, they really don't apply to her. Watch out tho' she lies like a rug.

These idiots must have more money than brains to give her one cent, the big loser in all this is Brindi who I do feel sorry for, poor dog never had a chance with an owner like that.
