Every Dog Should Matter to a dog lover, NOT just your own.

I was going back doing a little reading and I began to wonder..Why is it that Fran can put so much importance on her dog and her health and well-being, and so little importance on the other dogs in her community? She keeps stressing that no dogs were hurt in the attacks by Brindi, even the ones she knows went to a vet. The ones that she claims left her area immediately after an attack (and she had no chance to see the wounds) she claims they were fine with no wounds. Not sure how she can possibly know that.

  1. Hey ,don't you know the world revolves around fran, she has to be the center of attraction. To Hell with anyone else.

  3. Maybe because those people knew from experience it would be no good to show her. After all, the only dog of importance is BRINDI according to the frannie cult.

  4. She's already shown she believes her dog is more important that EVERY OTHER DOG in the HRM by stating the SPCA should have thrown away their 400K contract for Brindi, regardless how many other dogs could have been saved with that money.

  5. To Anonymous: HUH?? How can you know that? I am sure those who reported most certainly did show there was some evidence. Of course not to Fran, but to those in authority who matter. No one is required to show anything to Fran! Besides if they did what frigging good would it do? You have seen how she responds to people.

  6. Clara, bang on. We all know what would happen if someone went public and said their dog was hurt in an attack by Brindi. Fran would unleash her cronies who would at least attempt to threaten them into silence.

  7. I have read her blogs and groups. She usually says it was an isolated incident. I also read the court documents. I re-read them again after something she said in her blog ( I think it was ) that Brindi went after one of the dogs because it had previously gone after her. Now, Brindi would have had to have been off lead seeing the same dog was leashed when Brindi went after the same dog.

I also agree with Clara. Nobody has to show anything to Fran. She is not a vet and frankly she isn't a good owner either if she thinks any attack on someone elses pet is minor. I can tell you if that happened to my pet, this owner would be burying that dog. I don't care how minor an attack is when I am minding my own business walking my dog and hers to come out and attack mine. How in the hell can a leashed dog provoke another dog that is not even close? I don't want to see this dog dead because of irresponsible owners. The poor dog never had a good life anywhere she has been except now at the SPCA for what they can do. Time to give it up. Let this poor dog have a good life for what is remaining of it.

  8. Contradictory, a bit? You say you'd kill Brindi and in the same breath, that you "don't want to see this dog dead because of irresponsible owners"? Makes no sense, Anonymous.
This dog had a great life and you know it. Her life for the better part of the past two years has been the worst in her life.
You have to back the hell off, and let this owner have the same chance everybody else gets.
And if you think Brindi caused damage, go ask a cop named Justin Murphy about his dog, and all the damage it caused - and how he got off the hook for a pending euthanization!!
This post is also pretty ridiculous - demanding that a dog owner whose dog was seized do something for other dogs? The irony of your idiocy is that SHE DID DO SOMETHING FOR ALL DOGS IN HRM by QUASHING PART OF A300, you bozos!!! AND she did care about all the dogs involved with Brindi- more than their owners, in a few cases.

You make Francesca the center of YOUR attention. That is what is really happening, and I'd say you all need some attention from mental health professionals.

  9. Checking out your blog....And in your title you say you have "the information shared here is based on actual facts", I don't see your proof of what you are writing. Just that Fran makes her dog Brindi the most important in Halifax....why wouldn't she? She's in a fight to save Brindi's life, though you seem to take it personally. Are you saying that Brindi is a dangerous dog? You mention that dogs have been harmed and Fran would not bother to see it? Have you taken pictures of injury? If so then why have you been working to have Brindi 'rehomed'? You haven't shown anything that is the fact, just that you follow Francesca's blog's and activities in Halifax. Oh and I come on as Anonymous so you don't harass me for using my right as a Canadain and free speech.

  10. I'm not saying that Brindi is dangerous, further I not only follow Frans Twitter,or her blogs I could care less what she has to say,its all BS and crap to make herself look better.
It was Fran that put herself first and foremost in this matter, by doing so she pissed off a lot of people that could help her including the authors of this blog.
The woman is a real piece of work that just loves the personal attention; live by a few simple laws and its all good, however don't tell us how wonderful it is in Ky,Germany or NY.
I will personaly make sure that I fight tooth and nail that Brindi lives but not with Fran.
Now take that to the RCMP and say its a threat.....Don't you like to sue at the drop of the nail...Ya piece of shit..

  11. I agree that I would not want my dog attacked under any circumstances but, dogs will be dogs. Brindi does not appear to be dangerous. I've seen video and pictures of her, I admit, I have never met her in person. People attack people and they are not killed for it!
My heart goes out to Brindi but, also her owner. I would be devastated if my dog(s) were taken away from me and put on death row.
I hope what you say is true, that you will fight tooth and nail to see that Brindi is not put down.
Why is it exactly that you think she shouldn't be with FR?
I, myself have had my dog get away from me. It wasn't because I didn't love my dog, it was because, it just happens! Unfortunately my dog was hit by a car and paid the ultimate price. Does that mean I should never have another dog? Does that mean if my dog weren't hit by a car and I would have been able to safely retrieve him, that I shouldn't have been able to keep him? Of course not! Previously we had a female dog that was about Brindi's size who lived to be 16 yrs old. Right now we have 3 dogs, one who is 11 yrs old, one who is 2 and one who is 4. Yes, I watch them like a hawk, yes I love them with all my heart, just as I love my little one who got away from me and was killed.
I'm grateful that nobody holds that incident against me (except myself) Otherwise, I would never have the ones I have now who I give the best life possible.

  12. Mistakes do happen..occasionally...not repeately and not after being visited more than once by AC. Would you not take action after the first visit or surely by the second visit?

BTW we are not talking about a dog coming on your property and your dog going after it. That is very different from a dog coming into the public road and attacking all dogs that try to walk by. Would you not be a bit upset if your neighbor had a dog that did that every time you went for a walk with your dog? Would you say 'oh that is okay, dogs will be dogs'?

  13. Rational Mind, how could Brindi have had a great life before the past two years when Fran adopted her from a rescue herself, are you saying that brindi had a great time in the years she spent at the facility( which was shut down a few years back due to cruelty and negligent reasons). That to me says that Brindi had already started out with a horrible life and it was no help for Fran to adopt her because now look where she is due to the NEGLIGENCE of the owner! She would have been better off not being adopted from fran in the first place! Now she has to withgo more stress from moving to new places due to the new contract which CAN NOT be good for her condition, nor would it be good for any of the other "long-timer" dogs. And has anyone seen pictures of this boarding kennel where they are taking the "long-timers"? because from what I've heard it is like every other boarding facility the dogs are stuck in cages with no human interaction...God I hope NOT!

  14. I said, I would never want my dogs attacked under any circumstances. I realize I'm comparing apples to oranges. My point was/is that, shit happens!
At this point, I'd just love to see Brindi in any home that will care for her, love her and that she not be uprooted again!
I don't give a flying flip if it's with FR or not. Quite frankly I'm a little sick of all this nonsense.
I like animals more than people usually and this is why.
    Good Luck to Brindi

  15. You are all missing the point AGAIN. *Sighs* Brindi never should have been put in this position in the first place. Jesus, I'm starting to sound like a broken record here. Can you get this through your thick scull? Seriously, you need to either do your homework and read then go back and read some more of this blog. No one disputes that Brindi should have been saved from death but ask yourself...why was she in this position to begin with??? Come on people!! I'd like to think the general population has at least some brain cells left!!! I'll spell it out for you so it's abundantly clear this time; Fran did bot follow the law, she got warned, she did not head the warning, she did not follow the law again, she got warned, she did not head the warning....you following? See where I am going with this?? Pleeeeease pull your head out of the sand snd go back to the very first part if the story to really get a true picture of who is at fault here. THIS is why we are upset. THIS is why we choose to post. Can't help someone who doesn't want to accept help. Can't help Brindi when her owner is standing in the way because of pride or selfishness or whatever the hell it us that pisesses her to drag this whole thing out. It's a pitty really, the only one suffering is Brindi and at the hands of her owner. You expect us not to raise a stink about that?

  16. Has anyone seen any video of Brindi on her property when another dog comes by on a leash? What reaction she has, what she does to another dog?

Videos of Brindi running on the beach away from her property and with other dogs she knows is immaterial. Her problem is with other dogs she don't know coming close to her property. All this hoopla about what this dog is like with people and dogs she knows means nothing unless she acts that way with other dogs. I am sick and tired of seeing these videos and postings about how much this owner loves this dog. Bullshit!! If she did, she would have done what she was suppose to have done from the start. Not have her dog taken and cry about it later, sue everyone she can meanwhile not do what's right for the dog.
Time for this owner to get her head out of her butt and think of how long this dog has been " jailed" because of the owner.
